About CentralPoint Systems, LLCBuilt From a Marketing Perspective
CentralPoint Systems was founded in 2003 as a software company providing web-based products to government entities, businesses and non-profit organizations throughout the U.S. The web content management system software makes building websites easy, more effective and provides non-technical access to web marketing tools for a wide range of outreach functions. It is delivered in a software-as-a-service [SaaS] model in both hosted and self-hosted environments. Debra Elstad and Karen Smith created CentralPoint Systems from their experience as award-winning marketing executives. Prior to founding CentralPoint, Deb and Karen headed up Product Marketing at Passport Online Inc. the leading travel agency leisure resource on the web. They developed the original, highly successful product designs now used by American Express, AAA, Royal Caribbean and Sabre. CentralPoint assists its customers with custom development to provide a website and web tools that are affordable, save time and effort, and increase the effectiveness of web marketing for organizations who want to get more from their web presence. Commitment to Sustainability and Community Building
In the original business plan for CentralPoint Systems, Debra and Karen set goals for operating in a 'green' environment. CentralPoint provides solar-powered web hosting for the majority of its clients. CentralPoint uses a California-based company, AISO.net, as our managed hosting facility. AISO.net is a solar-powered facility with a superior record of uptime and customer service. Entrance to every client account is password protected. The majority of CentralPoint clients use our hosting in this configuration for cost and time savings and the obvious environment-friendly benefits of a solar powered facility. Backup procedures, redundancies, security, firewall and other technical details are available on request or by viewing at www.aiso.net . CentralPoint provides pro-bono and highly discounted products and services to a number of non-profit entities in support of building communities. Some of these organizations include: Habitat for Humanity, Volunteer Organizations Active in Disaster, Lutheran Social Services, organizations that fundraise for breast cancer research and Primary Children's Hospital. | |
